Tropical Storm Cindy Forms Way Out in Atlantic - No Threat to Land



Tropical Storm Cindy has formed way out in the open Atlantic this afternoon. Just before 4pm CDT, the center of the system was located about 665 miles East/Northeast of Bermuda, and was moving Northeast at 24 mph.  Maximum sustained winds were estimated at 40 mph.


This system is not forecast to affect any land masses, and will remain out to sea until diminishing over the weekend:
