Yesterday's High reached 110 degrees which ties the July record for Oklahoma City and also marks the highest reading here since July 1996
Now, if you rewind back to just February, yes, only 5 months ago, this same site recorded a frigid low of -5 degrees F, this was ironically the coldest reading for OKC since..... yes 1996!
Kansas was as equally hot yesterday with Medicine Lodge reaching a blistering 114 degrees. Here too saw stunning cold back in February, the low during that cold blast was a bone chilling -17 degrees F.
