This is the Upper Pattern across Europe courtesy of the ECMWF model for Sunday. As you can see, Spain has some gruelling heat with central, southern and western areas perhaps topping 42 to 44C (108-111F). All areas north to south will see at or above 36C (98F). This heat extends north up to the UK allowing rain and cool air to drift into eastern Europe. Highs will push 30C in London and towards 32C (90F) in Paris
