Pockets of Clear Skies and Light winds are bringing colder nights

As you'll notice, when stepping outside across the UK and many northern areas these days, when skies are clear and clam and particularly in between areas of low pressure, once they've left in their wake the pockets of calm in between, nights are becoming crisper as winter is knocking on the door.

After a few days and nights of mild oceanic air, some wind and some rain, here tonight and indeed last night saw clear skies and light winds, thus as we're heading into mid-October, the air by day isn't nearly as warm, thus with plenty of hours of darkness, the temperature at night is finding it much easier to drop off...

Winter is fast approaching folks.. Get ready!!

TODAY'S COND
Though there have been a few days in the past month that have topped 59, non have topped 60 for quite sometime and this I'm sure was welcome warm sunshine but indeed under a beautiful sunny sky today, means a crisp night under the stars! The fall season advances towards winter as the shadow is growing in my back yard!

Thanks for reading.
