THE OFFICIAL MEASURING STATION OF DALLAS (DFW) ONLY TOPPED 97 DEGREES ON THURSDAY, ENDING THE 100-DEGREE STREAK AT 40 STRAIGHT DAYS AND FALLING SHORT OF THE 1980 RECORD WHICH WAS 42 STRAIGHT DAYS
Not all Metroplex sites saw their highs stay below the century mark yesterday afternoon ending their consecutive 100 degree streak
Hensley Aiport, located to the south of Downtown Dallas and within the city limit recorded 101 yesterday. Every day since June 27th has topped 100, the hottest being 111. That means their streak continues and today also should top 100.
